Empty Wishes Well - Toskovat

One of my daily wears! It layers so well and gives any other scent a nice herbal, rainy base. One of my favorite rain scents -- and I've tried lots of them! Don't be scared off by the "wet penny"/"wishing well" note, this is very wearable.

Smells like: rain, petrichor, herbal

Reminds me of: Copic marker, wet cold rainy day, spring/summer, Holy Water font

Lost Cherry - Tom Ford

I just bought this and I'm OBSESSED with it. I'm not usually a fruity perfume gal, but the cherry here is super cola-y, spicy and mellow. It fades quick into a warm spicey musk like mulled wine. Yes I've heard the rumors, but benzaldehyde is in a ton of stuff, why single out a great fragrance? LOVE how this smells. Don't knock it til you try it!

Smells like: cherry, spicey, musky, woody

Reminds me of: autumn, Ben & Jerry's amaretto cherry flavor, leather jacket

This was a hand-me-down from my sister-in-law and became my "fancy events" / "date night" perfume in college. I met my partner wearing this perfume!

I got a sample of this off of scent split and wore it all the time my first summer out of college. Smells remarkable jazz club-y!

Smells like: tobacco, bourbon, leather

Reminds me of: a jazz club (duh), my first receptionist job, dancing with friends

Chasing Fireflies - Bath & Bodyworks

My sister gave me a lotion/candle/perfume set of this scent for my 22nd birthday! It reminded her of me because I loved "Fireflies" by Owl City when I was little.

Smells like: watery, sweet, warm

Reminds me of: my senior year apartment, walking to improv practice in the rain, playing outside with friends

If I remember correctly I asked for this for a birthday in middle school. It's supposed to smell like books! Apparently this is Gerard Way's scent? I didn't even know that? Great minds!

Smells like: old paper, sweet, almost kind of mothball-y lol but not in a bad way

Reminds me of: eating honey bunches of oats, homework, seventh grade... lol
